How can I change the gender of my profile?

Don’t worry if you’ve made a mistake here as it’s very easily remedied. Here’s what you have to do:

Desktop:

1. Click on ‘Profile’

2. Click on the edit icon (green pencil) to the right of your age, location and gender

3. In the Edit Basic Details box, click on the drop down arrow for ‘I am a ...’

4. Select the correct gender

5. Click on “Save”.

Mobile:

1. Access the account ‘Menu’ in the top left hand corner of the page

2. Click on ‘Profile’

3. Click on the edit icon (red pencil) to the right of your age, location and gender

4. In the Edit Profile box, click on the drop down arrow for ‘I am a ...’

5. Select the correct gender

6. Click on “Save”.

How can I change my search type (man/woman)?

Maybe you made a mistake when signing up, or maybe you’ve decided you’re interested in something else. Either way, this problem is very easily solved.

Here’s what you have to do:

Desktop:

1. Click on ‘Profile’

2. Click on the edit icon (green pencil) to the right of “I am looking for...”

3. Select the correct option under “I am looking for”

4. Click on “Save”.

Mobile:

1. Access the account ‘Menu’ in the top left hand corner of the page

2. Click on ‘Profile’

3. Scroll down to “I am looking for...” at the bottom of the page and click on the edit icon (red pencil)

4. Click on the edit icon (red pencil) to the right of your age, location and gender

5. In the Edit Profile box, click on the drop down arrow for ‘I am a ...’

6. Select the correct option under “I am looking for”

7. Click on “Save”.

How can I change my password?

Changing and updating your password on a regular basis is recommended to keep your account safe. To change your password:

Desktop:

If you’re logged in, you can change your password in “Settings”.

1. Access “Settings”

2. Scroll down to “Change Password”

3. Enter ‘old password’, type in ‘new password’ in corresponding fields

4. Click “Save”

If instead you have forgotten your password and cannot sign in:

1. Click on “Forgot password”

2. Enter the email address you used to sign up

3. Click on “Send password”

4. Check your email inbox, the password will have been sent to you.

5. Check your email inbox and click on the link which will allow you to change your password

Mobile

If you’re logged in, you can change your password in “Settings”.

What payment methods are available?

You can pay:

• using your MasterCard, VISA, Discover or JCB card.

• via PayPal. Just click on the PayPal logo. You can either log in or create a PayPal account in just a few clicks.

How can I cancel the automatic renewal of my subscription?

There is no automatic renewal with your Disabled-Dating-UK membership. Once your current membership expires, no more payments will be debited by us.

How do I delete my profile?

We truly hope you’ve found that very special someone that you’ve been searching for, but whatever the reason, deleting your account is pretty simple.

But before you take this final, irreversible step, you should be ABSOLUTELY sure that this is what you want. Deleting your profile means you’ll lose all your photos, messages, chats, likes and so on.

Are you still sure you want to delete your profile? Are you REALLY sure? OK: here’s how it works.

Just log into your account and follow these simple steps:

1. Access “Settings”

2. Scroll down to “Delete profile”

3. Type in your current password

4. Click “Delete”

Your profile will disappear forever within 24 hours.

If instead you want to be able to access your information or use your account again, you can opt to turn off all notifications and sign out rather than deleting it.
